This circa 1950s vintage Moroccan Beni MGuild carpet has a soft, diffused colour palette including autumnal honey hues and sun-faded magenta and aubergine, with an aged patina. Created in pure fine hand-spun wool an intricate pattern emerges in this lovely old rug with numerous detailed motifs that draw from Berber symbology of decades ago, framed by a delicate border design. The pile is now worn low, yet is perfectly intact and the carpet is in lovely condition
