A beautifully time-worn circa 1960/70s Chiadma carpet that has a soft faded palette of sun-bleached and faded tangerine, dusky pink, washed-out rose, warm grey, lavender, orange, and daffodil. The strong, artful composition of Berber symbols includes chains of connected lozenges, zig-zag river forms, square agricultural motifs, and open crosses. Woven in mixed fibers and cotton, there are five or six areas of clearly visible restoration and wear, along with pronounced sun fading on the back, which we feel do not detract from the overall vintage character of the piece
