An exceptional vintage Moroccan Beni Mguild carpet with a large-scale colourful lozenge network, filled with various iterations of smaller lozenges, Woven in a rich magenta with cream, sage green, tangerine and black, with two black borders along the long edges. The reverse is liberally sprinkled with shiny sequins, illustrating how these heft rugs were used on both sides. It is in super vintage condition. 100% wool of excellent quality.
