This mid-century rug has the most wonderful variations on gentle magenta and mauve, created by the weaver using different batches of hand-dyed wool. Softly worn over time to a low pile, this is a very special old rug woven for personal family use. The colour variations are contained with two borders woven on two sides in deep dark charcoal. In nice vintage condition, there are no holes or repairs and only a little bit of gentle nibbling into the fringe at one end
