This exceptional vintage Azilal rug is a striking and highly collectible piece, woven from natural hand-spun, thick, undyed cream wool. Its intricate design is densely packed with traditional Berber motifs, including lozenges, half triangles, and delicate grid patterns. These elements, most of which are woven in cotton, are set within a loose, asymmetrical lattice of lozenges, giving the rug a dynamic, organic feel. Very beautifully crafted, the rug is densely woven, offering both durability and a luxurious texture underfoot. It remains in superb condition and is finished with a long, hand-plaited fringe. Made from pure wool on a cotton foundation, this piece perfectly balances rustic authenticity with refined craftsmanship.
