This vibrant and warm vintage rug is created in a host of colours, with the focus on soft green alongside red, egg yolk yellow, orange, teal, and maroon. The lovely, knotted pile is made up of wool of different textures, with some symbols also created in soft cotton. This leads to a beautifully original Berber rug. While having some gracious balance, the composition principally has a fine painterly asymmetry, including a chain of lozenges of different dimensions ‘embedded’ in the center of the design. In nice condition, there are a few subtle and small colour transfers in a few places
