This stunning heavy and gloriously covetable vintage Azilal rug is woven in natural handspun undyed cream wool with a complex design that is jam-packed with small Berber motifs; lozenges, half triangles, small grids that are woven in cotton and embedded in a loose and asymmetrical grid of lozenges. In superb condition, thick and densely woven, it is finished with a long hand-plaited fringe and is woven in pure wool on a cotton base
