A thick, bold vintage kilim woven by the Arab tribes of southern Morocco. Lightly touched by the sun, its softly faded magenta ground provides a wonderful backdrop for a lively composition of geometric motifs in a vibrant palette of primary hues. Woven predominantly in pure wool with touches of cotton, the kilim has a substantial, tactile character.  Its expressive patterning, rich colour and gentle signs of age give it an appealing sense of warmth, individuality and authenticity.
