A bold and covetable old kilim, which was originally used as a fine family sleeping blanket (or ‘hanbel’ in Arabic), that is woven in sun-faded maroon, bold yellow, warm green, with touches of striking fuchsia. The weaver has created additional and very personal interest by weaving motifs in a slightly raised knotted pile. This lovely kilim is finished with a delicate knotted fringe and is in very fine vintage condition
