A beautiful, circa 1960s, classic Zaiane Berber rug that is certainly a rural masterpiece, gently echoing the ordered and formal designs of urban Moroccan rugs. The warm orange and light tangerine tones are only slightly faded with time, and remain nicely bold. Created in soft pure wool, there is soft pile wear throughout, leaving a neat, low and flat surface. This is a glorious rug from a time when Berber weaving was fine, skilled, and exquisite.
