A beautiful vintage rug with a deep pile and rich colour story. The wool pile is tightly knotted in double-twisted yarn (known as ‘qatifa’). Colour variations undulate through the piece, giving a subtle indication of where the weaver used different batches of wool. In very good condition, there is one original mend at one corner, which we have left a it is to show the rug’s past life
