A beautifully soft and thick handwoven rug created in glorious butter cream-hued pure wool with the fine lozenge network woven in undyed brown shades - chocolate and a cooler ash brown. Hand spun and shimmering, the knotted pile is lush and dense and this large heavy rug has a real and honest presence and is in good condition. There is some very soft colour run around some of the lozenge designs, and some mending in the fringes
