This gorgeous soft and pliant blanket-like looped pile rug is from the northeastern Middle Atlas mountains, and dates from about the 1980s. Warm brown lines run horizontally across the carpet, with an additional subtle stripe created using the softest fawn wool. The ground is woven in warm cream wool. Over time the knotted pile has worn and the rug has a beautiful vintage patina. All this adds to its authentic perspective. It is in good vintage condition, there are gentle marks on the back in places
