This is a late 1960s Islamic Quranic writing board, a traditional wooden tablet once used in Islamic schools for learning. It is hand-inscribed on both sides with delicate Arabic calligraphy by the original pupil. With some fading and chips in the wood, this old piece reflects a unique period in Morocco’s history
