A strikingly bold vintage Berber runner rug, which has both texture and beautiful colour. A classic chain of lozenge motifs runs down the centre of the rug, bordered by the same motifs in contrasting blues. Shots of soft light pink-peach flash through the centre of the rug and the same colour, used to finish the piece at one end, creates some asymmetry. This original rug is in good condition with two small restorations. It has been woven in soft cotton and the base is fine cream wool
