A truly joyful and rare mid-century rug with the traditional Berber lozenge symbols strung together in irregular rows. Soft forest and mossy green hues combine with occasional splashes of red and maroon, along with sun-faded teal blue. With a fine, silky pile of both cotton and wool, the rug has undergone extensive restoration, which is most noticeable on the back. In addition, the wool in the design has worn down faster than the cotton, giving a fantastic textural effect
