A very beautiful vintage weave in mixed technique with pile knotted motifs, and alongside soft flatweave, woven in fine wool and fine cotton. This rare old piece comes from the southern region of Morocco, where it would have been part of a nomadic family’s household item; a Berber life that has long disappeared. There are repairs in the rug along with marks from its past life
