An authentic and old domestic Berber flatweave (blanket/kilim) that is both minimal and dramatic. Due to the particular weaving technique used, strong bands feature a lot, with cream wool used alongside man-made materials for a muted palette with very colorful accents and symbols. This long, old piece was woven for a Berber home to keep the family warm at night, and to lay on the floor during the day, and so it carries with it stories from the past. In nice vintage condition, it has visible henna makes on the ‘back’ and a number of simple restorations
