A beautiful and genuinely old vintage carpet possibly from the 1960s that has an elegant design with soft geometry and genuine provenance. The wool is a dark tawny cream with a grid of lozenges is knotted in charcoal. The Marmoucha tribal peoples were skilled weavers and this carpet showcases that craft. The wool is 100% pure hand-spun and is soft and silky and dark cream.  This lovely carpet is an original tribal piece, used and loved, and has a truly authentic past that is shown by a softly worn pile and marks from tea and henna in a couple of places - this is a rug for someone who loves the obvious past lives of genuine vintage pieces
