A very beautiful and soft handwoven overdyed vintage kilim or ‘hanbal’: a 100% pure wool weaving that is now saturated with deep colour. The weave combines fine flatweave with bands of intricate raised knotted pile - a traditional technique that requires skill and precision to create. This lovely piece is perhaps less brassy than it appears here
