ABOUT US AND TERMS
Driven by our passion for Berber culture and textiles, we source genuine, old handwoven tribal rugs and carpets and make them available through our website. We offer these wonderful pieces at accessible prices because we work hard to keep our costs down - we don't have a shop or an expensive studio and we sell direct through our website or in person by bringing pieces to you to view if you would prefer.
A husband and wife team, we fell in love with moroccan textiles during our trips to Morocco to visit family. We started to buy a few pieces, kept some and sold some. We grew to know what what pieces were autentic, well made and valuable. We now send moroccan tribal rugs, kilims and cushions worldwide.
We buy fairly. We buy from the weavers' family or small village markets or auctions. We avoid the mass produced pieces now coming on the market and hunt out original, mostly vintage, items, made with care and great skill and woven with the best quality materials.
We hope that you will fall in love with the organic beauty of the tribal textiles that come from this wonderful country.

THE SMALL PRINT ... TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Payment: Maroc Tribal is a safe site. You can pay via Paypal using Mastercard or Visa credit card, and debit cards. You can also pay by bank transfer or cheque. We work around you.
Prices: The prices payable for the items that you order are shown in the web site. We try to ensure that the prices are current at all times, however we reserve the right to change the price we will charge you, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item concerned. All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated. The price of the items does not include the delivery charge which will be charged at the rates applicable at the date you place your order and which will be displayed. Contact us for shipping costs for any order totalling over 20kgs, as this total cannot be calculated through the online ordering servce.
Availability: If we are unable to supply a particular item, we will tell you as soon as possible.
Cancellation: You can cancel your order up to 3 calendar days after the day following the order, by advising us by e-mail (at info@maroctribal.com). In the event that the goods have already been dispatched at the date of receipt of your cancellation of the order, you must return the goods to us at the specified address within 7 calendar days and we will credit you with the price of the goods, minus shipping and handling costs expended and Paypal and /or bank transfer costs already paid by us. The 7 day period will begin with the day on which notice of cancellation was given. The cost of return carriage must be borne by you. Goods must be reutrned to us in the condition they were when dispatched.
If you do not return the goods to us in good condition within 7 days of your notice of cancellation your payment will not be refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery: All items are sent from the UK. Delivery will be made to the address specified by you on the completed order form at the price quoted at the time of booking. You must also supply a postal address on any Paypal payments. All deliveries are by a courier selected by us.
We try our very best to secure delivery within 1 week of the date of your order but shall not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond our control. If we cannot deliver within this time we shall notify you. If we cannot agree an alternative date for delivery, you will be offered a refund of the cost of the goods and the delivery charge.
Acceptance: There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we actually dispatch the goods to you. Your order is an offer to buy from us. Nothing that we do or say will amount to any acceptance of that offer until we dispatch the goods to you. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason. At the moment that the goods are dispatched (and not before), a contract will be made between you and us. Order status may be checked at the address given in the confirmation email.
